H.R. MacMillan Space Centre

Located in Vancouver at
1100 Chestnut Street in Vanier Park. Rain or Shine the Space Centre is a great place for the
whole family, with its interesting displays and the planetarium theater all will
have a fun time. This interesting and
exciting architectural building is just the beginning to what awaits you after
you enter the Space Centre. Once you enter you can see
that to the left is the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre and to the right is the Museum of
Vancouver. After you enter the Space Centre there's no turning back from the fun and education that awaits you. Apollo 17 landed on the moon and had many interesting discovery's, the crew also brought back many Lunar samples. Here is a piece of the moon, this is 1 of only 4 sample on earth that you can touch. Below are more H.R. MacMillan Space Centre Photos. They wore these in space walks and even used these suits to walk on the moon, get a close up view of a real Nasa Space Suit. The J-2 Rocket Engine was
designed in the 1960's and used to propel the Apollo Space Rockets into Space. Do stars really Vanish? Or is it just that we can't see them because of the bright city lights. This display gives interesting information on the stars and why we can't see all of them. What is a space Module and what are they used for? At the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre they explain what they are used for and what to expect in the future for the use of Space Modules. The International Space Station is regularly being used to study the effects of space on Humans animals and plants. This is what people today are living in while they are working in space.
